This is the State St at Bridge St bus stop for the M5 at the tip of lower Manhattan.
For those of you who don't live in NYC, M means Manhattan. BX is Bronx. B is Brooklyn. SI for Staten Island. Q is for Queens. Then there are the X buses. They are the ones that go between two or even three boroughs and of course cost at least twice as much as the normal bus fare. They have far fewer stops and that is how they called e'X'press buses.
